Up-cycling

20130224-091428.jpg

Upcycling is new to me. Maybe new to you too! Taking used items and rather than throw away, figure out another use for the packing. This is a perfect example of upcycling. Using used creamer containers for sugar storage. After washing the used containers in the dishwasher, completely dry placing container upside down. Once the package is completely dry, using a piece of paper sift the sugar into the containers. Now you have sealed tight sugar storage out of something you would normally throw in the recycle bin.

Where did Home Prices Increase the Most in 2012?

20130206-100233.jpg

Interesting. Which 2 states saw the highest home price increases? Nevada, seems pretty obvious. The other may surprise you, may even Shock you the way it did me. RHODE ISLAND? Of all places the smallest state in the union’s real estate market has rebounded beyond 48 of its much larger counter-parts. Other states of note with significant increases are California, Florida, Arizona, all of which suffered the steepest blows to property values when the bubble burst.
